Vice-dean Halla B. Holmarsdottir at the Faculty of Education and International Studies at OsloMet is the project coordinator of the DigiGen research project “The impact of technological transformations on the Digital Generation”. DigiGen is a project of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme and is investigating how digitalisation and technological developments affect children and young people’s lives.

There is a growing need for empirical research to understand children’s use and experience of these technologies in their daily lives.
