data processing and purpose
This website uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your device to help the site provide a better user experience. Almost all websites use cookies. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information, and provide anonymised tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics.
When you visit the DigiGen website, we store information related to your behaviour based on your IP address: the pages you visit, the time you spent on the pages and the location. Your IP address is anonymised and cannot be linked to your person. The data we collect is used to analyse the reach and impact of our project and to potentially improve this.
As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.
In addition, DigiGen may collect certain personal data such as name, address, organization, and e-mail address through the subscription to the DigiGen newsletter and registration to DigiGen events.
transfer of your personal data
Your information is treated with the utmost confidentiality and will only be passed on to third parties with your consent or if we are required by law to do so.
DigiGen works with a third party provider, MailChimp, to share news about the DigiGen project and events with subscribers to the newsletter. Your data such as name, organisation, and email address will be shared with MailChimp when you subscribe to the DigiGen newsletter.

Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
